General Info

Located on Carrer de Viladomat, 101 in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Cuina Panda offers a welcoming spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine in a relaxed setting. From the moment I arrived, the restaurant felt inviting and focused on delivering a satisfying dining experience. Its convenient location makes it an appealing choice for both locals and visitors exploring this vibrant part of the city.

One of the first details that stood out during my visit was the complimentary spring rolls served at the beginning of the meal. This simple yet thoughtful gesture immediately created a positive impression. As I explored the menu, it became clear that Cuina Panda takes pride in offering a variety of traditional flavors. The Gyozas Caseras Variadas Con Salsa Picante were particularly enjoyable, combining delicate textures with a flavorful spicy sauce that added just the right amount of heat.

The Cazuela de Arroz del Panda is one of the standout dishes on the menu. Rich, comforting, and generously prepared, it showcases the restaurant’s ability to create satisfying meals that feel both authentic and memorable. Another highlight is the Estofado de Panceta, a slow-cooked pork belly stew that delivers deep flavors and a tender texture. These dishes reflect the restaurant’s commitment to hearty Chinese cooking and provide excellent options for diners seeking something beyond the usual selections.

To complete the meal, the Postre offered a pleasant finishing touch. It balanced the savory flavors enjoyed throughout the dining experience and rounded out the visit nicely. Guests who enjoy pairing their meals with beverages will appreciate the availability of wine and hard liquor, which complement many of the dishes on offer.

From a practical perspective, Cuina Panda supports NFC mobile payments, making transactions quick and convenient. Visitors should note that the restaurant does not provide a wheelchair-accessible entrance or wheelchair-accessible parking lot. This is useful information for anyone planning their visit.

Based on my experience, Cuina Panda stands out among Chinese restaurants in Barcelona thanks to its flavorful menu, generous portions, and welcoming atmosphere. Reviews often emphasize the enjoyable dining experience, and it is easy to understand why diners return to this Eixample location to explore more of what the kitchen has to offer.

“ Unplanned Perfection: A Barcelona Culinary Find! We were just wandering around Barcelona, looking for something to eat, and randomly walked into this restaurant—it was a perfect choice! The menu immediately caught our eye, and the actual meal surpassed all expectations. The atmosphere and vibe were fantastic, setting a great stage for the food. The ramen was great, featuring a rich, comforting broth, but the star of the show was the rice with duck. It was truly beyond! The duck was tender and bursting with savory flavor. We absolutely loved everything, and the meal culminated in a mind-blowing finale: the passion fruit yogurt dessert. It was light, tangy, and unforgettable. A truly serendipitous discovery! We are definitely coming back when we are in Barcelona again. ”

“ Cozy Chinese restaurant with Sichuan cuisine in Sant Antoni. I ordered the beef noodles but while waiting for the food, hey brought complimentary spring rolls which was a nice gesture. The broth of the noodle was tasty and rich. The mushrooms were a bit chewy but other than that it was quite nice. The waitress was quite friendly and service was very fast. ”

“ What a nice little find , after researching local Chinese CUINA PANDA-Homemade Sichuan Food , had some lovely reviews so me and my mother chose to pop in for some lunch. The owner/waiter was an absolute gem and was so helpful , sharing both menus their lunch time menu and their main menu. Me and my mother chose their main menu choosing a few random dishes such as Estofado de ternera con especias de Sichuan ( a flavoured beef stew ) Estofado de panceta estilo Sichuan (sichuan style) and some boiled rice. We also ordered Gambitas sabor cebollino y soja ( SCALLION&SOYA FLAVOR SHRIMPS-) which was made into a noddles dish for us . The owner also kindly gave my mother a taster of a tofu dish when she had made a comment about liking tofu. I cannot put into words how delicious each dish was and how wonderful the owner made me and my mother feel when dining here. Even when the restaurant had a lunch time rush and started to fill very quickly we weren’t made to rush to finish and leave, me and my mother have not stopped speaking about it all day and will definitely will make another visit before leaving Barcelona. ”
